A little more about me…
I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember. What began as drawing at a young age grew into a lifelong exploration of making. Curiosity and imagination have always guided me. I’ve long been drawn to physical, tactile work: pieces you can hold, feel, and connect with. That love was shaped early on by a deep fascination with Jim Henson, The Muppets, and the fantasy worlds of his films. There, characters felt alive through craft and care.
My journey into plush-making began with the simple thrill of hot glue and safety eyes. It has since grown into a lasting passion. I experimented with sewing techniques and taught myself how to crochet during the 2020 pandemic lockdown. Making has remained a constant source of comfort and excitement. During my first year at MassArt, I studied Fibers. There, I fell in love with natural dyes, soft sculpture, felting, and weaving. That experience holds a special place in my heart. It grounds my work in texture, process, and patience.
Eventually, I found my way back to Communication Design, a discipline I first studied in high school at a technical school where my fluency in design meets my love for hands-on craft. My creativity continues to evolve daily, fueled by an insatiable desire to learn, experiment, and bring ideas to life. Looking back, I owe so much to the younger version of myself, who spent hours drawing strange and wonderful creatures, unknowingly laying the foundation for everything I create today.
