Ode 2 John's is a cassette box set tribute to the iconic experimental band They Might Be Giants. The project explores the band’s signature blend of absurdity, intelligence, and endearing weirdness, translating sound into a playful physical experience. The set includes three custom cassette tapes labeled Absurdity, Endearment, and Melancholy, each capturing a distinct feeling in some of the band's greatest hits. It also includes a 22-page booklet which captures the essence of TMBG’s evolution since their formation in 1982, emphasizing their DIY ethos and cult following. This project celebrates how They Might Be Giants made weirdness feel welcome, turning cerebral themes into something new, joyful and  most importantly accessible.
